Geeks On Repair is committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining transparency in all of our business practices. This Privacy Policy and Terms of Service Agreement (collectively, the “Policy”) governs the collection, use, and protection of personal information obtained through any interaction with Geeks On Repair, whether via its websites, telephone, email, or online chat. All of these websites are owned and operated by Geeks On Repair and are collectively subject to this Policy.

These records are maintained for the express purposes of: (a) quality assurance and service improvement; (b) verifying the terms of any service agreement or commitment made by either party; (c) protecting Geeks On Repair from fraudulent chargebacks, false claims, or bad-faith disputes; and (d) complying with applicable legal obligations. Geeks On Repair reserves the right to produce any such recordings, logs, or transcripts in any legal, administrative, or dispute resolution proceeding.

Geeks On Repair collects personal information only when necessary to provide services or fulfill a transaction. Please note: If you place a call to a Geeks On Repair phone number and the call is not answered, you may receive an automated text message from Geeks On Repair notifying you that your call was missed and offering you the option to communicate by text message. Customer contact information and service records are collected during registration or service initiation and are accessible only by Geeks On Repair customer service representatives, technicians, and management personnel who require such access in order to service your account.

While Geeks On Repair takes reasonable precautions to protect your information, no data transmission over the Internet or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Geeks On Repair cannot warrant or guarantee the absolute security of any information you transmit.

 

SECTION 7: USE OF COOKIES

Geeks On Repair uses limited cookie technology on its websites. Specifically, Geeks On Repair has implemented a security system designed to detect and deter fraudulent activity, including “click fraud” perpetrated by competitors seeking to deplete Geeks On Repair’s online advertising budget through repeated unauthorized clicks on its paid advertisements.

Cookies are placed only on the devices of visitors who arrive at a Geeks On Repair website via a paid advertisement and who click on such an advertisement more than twice within a defined period. These cookies are used solely for security and fraud prevention purposes and have no effect on ordinary visitors who access Geeks On Repair websites through organic search results, hyperlinks, or direct URL entry.

SECTION 8: BILLING, CHARGEBACKS & SERVICE DISPUTES

Geeks On Repair does not accept chargebacks. By engaging Geeks On Repair for any service, the customer agrees to pay all applicable service fees and acknowledges that any chargeback initiated in connection with a Geeks On Repair transaction will be actively contested by Geeks On Repair’s billing department using all available records, including call recordings, chat logs, and email correspondence.

In the event that a chargeback or collection matter is referred for legal proceedings, the customer agrees to be responsible for all associated collection fees, attorney’s fees, and court costs to the extent permitted by applicable law.

No Refunds Policy: All sales and service fees are final. However, in the event that a customer is dissatisfied with services rendered due to a documented issue attributable to a Geeks On Repair technician, Geeks On Repair may, at its sole discretion and subject to management approval, offer one (1) complimentary remote repair session on any single customer-designated device, or one (1) hour of on-site service performed by a different assigned technician. To request such a remedy, the customer must submit a written and signed request form describing the nature of their dissatisfaction. This remedy is subject to management review and approval.

Due to the inherently variable nature of computer performance and the difficulty in attributing technical issues to specific causes or time periods, the customer agrees that Geeks On Repair shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or accidental damages that may arise in connection with services rendered by any Geeks On Repair technician, whether employed directly, assigned as a company technician, or engaged as an outsourced contractor.

 

SECTION 9: CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

Geeks On Repair reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. When material changes are made, Geeks On Repair will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document and will provide notice either by posting a prominent announcement on the homepage of its websites or by sending direct notification to affected users. Your continued use of any Geeks On Repair website or service following notice of such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy. Geeks On Repair encourages all users to review this Policy periodically.
